     My family weren't exactly the nerdy, bookish family trust me, but I was different...I could anytime pick a book over family dinners, family hangouts and even meeting up with friends. 

    My parents were supportive at first while I was younger. They'd buy me books, lots of them, and I just read everyday. After breakfast, during lunch, after chores and even on a family trip.

    Well, until they feared I would disconnect from actual people.

     They tried pushing me out more, seizing my books, my mom stopped purchasing new novels for me but almost as though a spirit had taken control of me, I went to libraries. Took as many, borrowed from friends, read online, read literally anything.

     It's just who I am... Why change me?

  I found it more interesting and loved who I was when I could connect with like minds that understood me - thanks to social Media ❤️
