STORYTIME!

The loud music and chatterings were tiring for Adrian. He was simply a driver yet he did every other job a driver shouldn't do. Whatever it was that Her Royal Majesty wanted of him.

Rolling his eyes at that thought, he glanced over his shoulders at the spoilt daughter of the Rivera family and her group of friends.

Where in the world did a driver wait inside a club right beside his boss like a personal guard?

Adrian looked away from them. First, he was tired from all the driving and now standing for hours? The loud music was adding more to his already aching head. He just wanted to go home.

"Hey! Don't just stand there! Go get an extra bottle!' Jayden Hart - Camille's boyfriend yelled and Adrian needed no one to tell him he was actually referring to him.

He sighed. She gave them such authority to treat him as trash just as much as she treated him too.

He was paid to be a driver, but now he's doing a waiter's job.

"Another one of whatever's on that table", he said to the waiter pointing at Jayden and his friends.

The bartender nodded and got a bottle as he requested.

"Please put it in a bucket of ice", he added.

Once bitten, twice shy.

He can't be humiliated in public again like the last time.

"Thanks man", he took his order and hurried back to their table. Jayden didn't spare him a glance as he put down the bucket.

He turned to leave.

"Will it uncork itself you bastard?" Jayden spat those words out his mouth in anger, glaring hard at Adrian who swallowed his spittle in an attempt to calm his nerves.

"My apologies", he bowed and took the wine bottle.

Uncorking it, he served them all and placed the remnant on the table.

He felt someone caress his left palm the moment he laid down the bottle.

He looked up to meet her gaze.

Sitting gracefully beside Jayden, Camille winked at him seductively.

"Shall I rip your eyes off too?" Jayden smacked his head.

The girls giggled at the embarrassment of Adrian.

"My apologies".

Adrian hated saying those words but it would mean worse punishment if he didn't apologize. He left them and returned to the spot where he'd been standing.

From side view, he could see her oogle at him. It wasn't the first time. Ever since her mother hired him as her driver, he's been trying his best to avoid troubles but she loved throwing trouble his way.

He didn't oblige her, instead he looked away, staring at the dance floor with zero interest in whatsoever they had going on.

Adrian's phone beeped in his pockets.

He peeked at them to make sure they weren't staring. He took out the phone in style, stylishly checking the message. It was from his mom.

*Where are you? Bryan is getting worse. You know he loves having you around*

Adrian sighed.

His little brother fell ill and Adrian had saved up a little to take him to the hospital but he's barely had time to visit him. With the phone still in his hand, it began ringing. MOM was bold on the screen. He couldn't answer if he wanted to keep his job. He watched it ring till it ended. Yet she called again.

He knew it was important. That was the agreement between himself and his mom. She knew his type of work so if it wasn't something important, if it could wait till later, she'd call once but if important, she'd make a second call.

Adrian didn't know what to do.

He watched it ring till the end. The moment the third call came in, still from his mom, he knew it was urgent.

He inhaled deeply and stepped out. He couldn't ignore his family for a mere job, though it was hard to come by.

"Adrian!" She yelled the moment the lines connected.

"Mom. What's going on?"

"I don't care to know where you are. Get yourself down here now! I don't know what's wrong with Bryan", she broke down, "we can't loose him".

Adrian's heart skipped a beat.

They'd lost their father, his younger brother can't be next in line.

"Mom, I need you to calm down and tell me what exactly is going on?"

"Get yourself here and see for yourself", she cried and ended the call.

"Shit!" He cussed, contemplating on what to do.

"Hey", her voice reached him the moment her hand tapped his back as well.

He turned to her. It was his boss looking all drunk. Adrian didn't have time for this again, he knew what she was about to do.

"Ma'am", he responded curtly and tried creating a distance between them.

But she fell onto him with a giggle.

"Your scent is intoxicating", she hiccupped completely drunk but sane enough to know what she was doing.

Adrian was about to forget she was female and would have pushed her off with all his strength not minding where she'd land but he held it in and gently detached her from himself.

The stubborn lady fell right back into his hands.

"What do you think you're doing?!!! Stop this please. I was about asking for your permission to go see my family".

"You want me just as much as I want you", she held tightly onto his chest and chuckled.

"I don't want you ma'am. Master Jayden is in there and I need your permission to go", he sighed frustratedly.

"Are you scared of Jayden?" She whispered and Jayden came out at that moment, Adrian knew he was in big trouble.

He let her off gently but her drunk state caused her legs to wobble on her heels that she fell backwards.

A little cry from the corner interjected the words Jayden was about to speak. He turned and saw the lady on her butt in tears.

"Camille", he rushed to her and tried helping her up.

She glared at Adrian and Adrian regretted the entire night immediately.

"Ahh", she squealed in pain.

"I think I sprained my ankle now", she cried.

"What happened? How did you end up on the ground?"

Adrian shut his eyes waiting for it.

SMACK!

The slap was thunderous.

"How dare you lay your filthy hands on her?!!" Jayden raged.

"She threw herself at me".

*PUNCH!

"Who do think you are?" Camille yelled from behind Jayden. "How dare speak such trash about me? Why would I throw myself at such a lowlife!" She spat and continued with her fake tears.

"He accused me wrongly", she held tightly onto Jayden whose nostrils flared up.

"Apologize to her now!" He growled.

That can't even be a problem for Adrian, he had apologize so much that it meant nothing to him.

"My apologies Miss", he bowed slightly. His cheeks hurting as he spoke.

"His apologies won't heal my ankle!" She whined, "and I have a shoot tomorrow", she cried.

*How devilish can this girl get?!* Adrian thought to himself.

His phone buzzed in his pant's pocket reminding him of a family that was waiting for him.

"Young master Jayden, my brother just got worse and my presence is needed at the hospital. I really would appreciate....

"Step out and forget your job", Jayden sneered at him before he could complete his request.

"Let's go in", he turned to his lady with a smile and led her in.

Adrian stood confused, not knowing what next to do.

This job was footing Bryan's bills.

Something might go wrong if he doesn't show up at the hospital and he'd never forgive himself.

His phone buzzed again with a message.

*BRYAN'S GONE!*
